SOUR!

Today for the first time in my life I drank sour milk. =[
I was sitting at the kitchen table, very innocently eating my breakfast when I asked my mom to pour me a glass of milk. I had worked out this morning so I was pretty thirsty. When she brought me my cup, I started downing in. After about a second I realized it tasted DISGUSTING. That milk had definitely gone bad. So, thanks mom for trying to poison me, and from now on I will be pouring and smelling my own milk.

I'm the one who likes gardenia

Let's Keep Counting

There are SEVEN weeks until Jacob graduates diving school! Can you BELIEVE how close that is? I can still remember counting down until boot camp was over. Now that was over 4 months ago. Let me outline Jacob's schedule for everyone =]
Today - May 31: Diving out at sea
June 1 - June 3: Classroom stuff & Test
June 4 - June 11: POOL WEEK! (This is kind of a big deal)
June 14 - June 25: SCUBA diving (This is about the time frame we find out where we are moving! Ah!)
June 28 - July 9: Diving with the rebreather mask & classroom stuff.
July 13th: GRADUATION!!!!

Doesn't that make it seem fast?

Carrie Underwood!

For my birthday, Sam got me tickets to see Carrie Underwood, and the concert was last night and it was AMAZING. I had so much fun getting to hang out with Sam and see Carrie.

Craig Morgan was the opening act, and he did a fantastic job getting the party started.

Carrie was gorgeous and it was really fun singing along in the audience.

She had this really cool truck that flew over the audience that she used as a stage.

Sam and I love going to see concerts together, we're hoping for Michael Buble next! Thank you Samantha Ann for a fabulous evening!

Karaoke

On Friday night, Kylie and I went out to karaoke! Even when I get serious stage fright Kylie makes sure I'm right up there with the best of them, busting out some Shania Twain.

Our New Car!

Jacob and I just bought our very first car! It's a silver Mazda 3 and I love it! I'm really excited for Jacob and me to go road tripping in it this summer. It was really cool to buy a car that is just ours. My dad helped me out SO much throughout the process, he always had great advice and it really meant a lot to me that he made the time to be there for me every step of the way. And my my mom came with us to look at the dealerships too. I had a lot of fun with them picking out a car. I was a little bummed that Jacob couldn't be here for the buy, but he was really helpful even from Florida. I just can't believe it...OUR very own car!

Jacob

I just need to take a minute and acknowledge how amazing Jacob truly is. A-MA-ZING. He is so supportive and understanding and knows just what to stay when I'm having one of my "freak out" moments. Since I've gotten home and started working, our schedules don't always line up and we don't get to talk as much, but absence definitely makes the heart grow fonder! I love him more and more every day.

Adios Flagstaff!

Last Sunday my mom came to Flagstaff to help me move the heck out of there! I wasn't finished with finals until Tuesday, but she came up early and we took a day trip to Sedona and had lots of fun mother-daughter bonding time. One of the only things I'm going to miss about Flagstaff is my drives and visits with my mom. She always picks a really nice hotel with super big and comfy beds so I can stay with her and watch cable. She really made my last few days in Flagstaff fun!

And on that note...I love my mommy so much! She has been such an amazing example to me for the past 20 years. She is always so happy and has a big smile on her face. She knows just the right things to say when I need advice and is beautiful inside and out. I'm pretty lucky to have such an amazing mom. I love you Mamacita, Happy Mother's Day!

R.I.P. Disc 37...

So, this semester I have been going through the entire series of Friends that Madeline and Emily got me for Christmas. Last weekend I got to the second to last disc, disc 37, only to discover that it does not work! Not in the DVD player, not in the computer, ANYTHING! I'm so bummed, but I'm trying to come up with a creative way to rectify the situation. Any ideas?
