Purse Withdrawl

Anyone who knows me will attest to this - I stop at nothing to find the perfect purse. I love purses. I love buying purses. I love carrying purses. I love putting everything but the kitchen sink in my purses. Now, let me say this. I cannot remember the last time I bought a new purse. If my memory serves me correctly it was when Jacob was in bootcamp. Over ONE YEAR AGO people! Clearly, I need to buy a bag pronto. Jacob does not share my opinions, and very openly opposes them as we walk through the mall and I stare wistfully into the bag department. Helloo...summer is coming, my black Jessica isn't fit for bright vibrant summery colors (although she is still wonderful, and she will be back again!) I NEED A SUMMER BAG AND MY HUSBAND THINKS I HAVE TOO MANY PURSES. (No such thing! Someone talk sense to the man!) And, while I admit I have slightly upscale taste in purses, it's nothing obscene. (Tell him what a Louie costs, quick!) Here is my list of very acceptable summer bags, although not necessarily displayed in the color of my choosing. Now...how to sneak one in without him noticing...

I present to you:

(This one comes in YELLOW! I so love yellow this year. I think it's because I'm no longer worried about it clashing with my blonde hair.

Must. Have.

Dying.
This one comes in a lighter snakeskin...I could rock that.

See?? Sheer Perfection. Someone tell him I deserve a new purse, and that it doesn't matter how many I already have (and I did donate some to Salvation Army...that should count for something) sometimes a girl just needs herself a new purse!

Honey Bunches of Oats

Just a quick little "aww" moment of the day...

Jacob has been super into organizing his life lately. Calendars, To-Do lists, planned out morning rituals, time management, etc. I was looking at his morning routine list
(because I'm nosy an attentive wife)
and at the very top (right after wake up) was "LOVE MY WIFE" in all capital letters. So sweet. So adorable. So in love with that man!

I guess I could think "ummm why do you even need to write that down!? Shouldn't you always remember that no matter what??" But I'm choosing to look on the sunny side. It's cute.

Zoey's New Friends

One of the best parts of our new house is that Zoey has two friends to play with! Banyon and Jasper play so well with her, and put up with a lot of attitude from Princess Zoey.

my darling Sarah...

Today is my former most amazing best roommate ever's birthday. Sarah Calvillo is 21! Sarah is the number one reason I miss Flagstaff. Sarah is the number one reason my freshmen year of college was the best. Sarah is the number one reason my Flagstaff memories make me smile from ear to ear. Sarah is number one!

But in all seriousness, Sarah, this post is for you! This is me wishing I was there to help you celebrate! In your honor, I present some of the memories we shared together...

Sarah's 19th birthday....I can't believe it's 2 years later!

Miss you Sarah! I hope your day was as wonderful as you are. I love you sister!

3's

They say bad things come in three's...for us Foyston's you might say stressful things come in 3's instead.

1. We were planning on moving in with some friends when out lease was up in August but in an attempt to save money, and many phone calls to the landlord, the move got bumped up to THAT weekend! That was about....one week ago. The final stages of the move are underway and I will post about that asap. I'm sure it seems strange, 2 couples living together...or maybe not, I don't know. We love it and that's all that matters!

2. While we were moving we managed to break the glass in a headboard, one mirror, and a refrigerator...what's that about 21 years of bad luck?

3. As we were taking our LAST load of things to our storage unit today, we rolled over a screw. Not only that, but we rolled over it so perfectly that it was not able to be patched and we had to get a whole new tire. On top of that, our two front tires were needing to get replaced, but we managed to get the screw into one of the back tires that were in great condish. Go us. So that totaled THREE brand new tires for the Foyston's today. They were running a buy 3 get 1 free special, so there's the silver lining. Oh...and also the AC broke.

So there's a little update on the crazy lives we're living right now! As soon as we're organized and can see the floor of our bedroom, another update will be on it's way. I can't wait to tell you about our room...let's just say gray IS the new neutral and waking up to my amazing "porpoise" walls everyday is perfection. You'll see...

The Big 21!

I finally turned 21! We kept it pretty low-key but I had such a great night! Jacob took me to the melting pot (which I may or may not have been hinting at for the whole month before my birthday). It was only my second time there and Jacob's first, but he loved the experience! The food was amazing, the company was even better, and as much as I would have loved to spend time with my family and friends, it was nice having Jacob all to myself for a nice leisurely meal in the middle of our crazy hectic lives.
Trying to show off the gorgeous pink swarovski hoops my mama sent me =)
Our delicious dinner!
Roasting Marshmallows on our flambeed s'more dipping chocolate.

One of my presents from Jacob. Amazing Jessica Simpson wedges! (Please ignore my messy car!!)
Gorgeous Birthday Bouquet from Samantha!
Pink Birthday Flowers from Jacob.

And to top off the night, Mallory got me tickets to Dierks Bentley! Can't wait for that show next month!

I love to stay at the Y - M - C- A!

Well. I quit Starbucks (YES!) and I got an awesome new job as Aquatic Coordinator at the YMCA! (See...told ya life was busy. But stay tuned, there's more!) I love everyone I work with, I have my own desk, and my hours are really flexible with school and everything. So far I've absolutely loved it!

Zoey Graduates

By some miracle, or maybe just her uncanny ability to be cute even when she is NOT doing what she is supposed to be going, Zoey graduated puppy school! She did make a little progress...but she really only follows commands when her puppy energy isn't in the way.

Zoey and her classmate Mason at graduation.

Madeline's Visit!

I know you're thinking it...BLOG SLACKER! Abandoning my blog for a whole month. Just trust me when I say life has been incredibly busy and believe me when I say I will fill you in on all the details coming right up. But first of all...Madeline's trip to Virginia!

It was SO amazing having my sister here for a week. I had such a good time showing her around and letting her experience a little of my Virginia life.
We had ONE day of absolutely wonderful weather and we took full advantage! Virginia Beach here we come!

We painted pottery and this is my plate.

And before we knew it, it was time to go back to the airport =( I loved having my sister here. It was so nice to have a familiar face who knows more about me than just my Virginia life. I loved showing her my apartment and the city and my school. I loved taking her to Starbucks every morning so she could keep up with me (haha) It just made me so much more excited to go home this summer! I love you Madeline and I hope you "had a great day"!
