I seriously L-O-V-E my sisters~in~law! All of us and Cherie had a girls night Sunday night after the zoo and went to see Bad Teacher. It was so fun to hang out with all the girls! Then at about 12:30 we decided to go to Wal-mart!

The Muck is an Indian Reservation in Washington where you can buy all these HUGE fireworks! We went last time I was in Seattle for 4th of July and I loved it. It is such a cool experience. The Seattle Zoo!!

On Sunday we loaded all 19 of us into cars and headed off to the Seattle Zoo!! It was huge! The kids loved seeing all the animals and it was so fun to watch them all.

Welcome to Seattle!

We made it to Seattle!! Our flight was pretty painless and the fun started as soon as we stepped off the plane! Rick, Haley, Sophia, Flynn, and Adeline all came to pick us up! After such a long time, it has never felt so good to be here!!

Blog Neglect

Wow...I didn't realize that I had be neglecting my blog so much! I've been doing 9-10 hour days at work and the weeks just slipped away from me! But that's okay because it means my vacation is THREE DAYS AWAY!!!!!! So freaking excited. We have had these plane tickets since FEBRUARY people. It seriously felt like it would never get here. Jacob and I have spent the last few days getting our lives together and running last minute errands to prepare. Being gone for 3 weeks is a long time ya know. And life in Virginia is gonna march right on without us. But I think we got things taken care of.

Also, another random update. My job at work kind of changed. Now I work more with kids in the daycare aspect of the Y. I am LOVING it. I had no idea I liked little kids so much. But I really enjoy hanging out with them every day. I was ready to move on from Aquatics so it worked out nicely.

Anywho, I'll do my best to update throughout the trip, but let's be honest. We're hanging out with family that we haven't seen in a YEAR soooo I might slack again. All I can say is THANK GOODNESS my sis in law Haley watches the Bachelorette because I would hate to fall behind on that while I'm gone! hah. Okay, rambling now. I guess I just missed my blog so much =( See you all in 3 weeks...Seattle here we come!

Got the Bug

I had an absolutely lovely weekend feeling like this

At first I thought I had food poisoning...but it turns out my roomie Joe had it too. Sooooo seems like it may have been a little bug that followed me home from work. Not fun. But luckily I landed one amazing hunk of a husband who came home early from work on Friday with ginger ale and chicken noodle soup in hand. {and then held my hair while I puked it up.} He's the best =) Luckily it was only a 24 hour thing, but it was NOT fun. Thanks Jakey for rockin my world.

Brad Paisley H20 2 Tour

I had been wanting to get tickets to Brad Paisley SO badly. But I just couldn't really justify spending so much money on a concert. Enter Groupon. The email of the day was Brad Paisley tickets for 15 DOLLARS! You better believe I got right on that. And I was the first person at the Box Office to pick them up, meaning I got the very front seats of the section. Not too shabby.

Our seats weren't to die for like Dierks Bentley but it was still really fun! All the guys did awesome and the show was really upbeat. They performed in an outdoor amphitheater and the weather was ahhhhmazing. Nothin beats a country concert.
